Como “inaceptable” calificó el diputado del PRI y candidato a senador por la Araucanía, Eduardo Díaz, el informe de la Contraloría que detectó más de 8 mil millones de pesos pendientes en la rendición de la Corporación Nacional de Desarrollo Indígena (CONADI).
El documento, según informó La Segunda, indica que el ente fiscalizador aseguró que 3,7 mil millones entregados por la entidad del Gobierno a otras instituciones del Estado no están rendidos. Incluso ni siquiera se han emitido los informes mensuales que deben dar cuenta del gasto efectuado en el período con cargo a los recursos transferidos.
También el texto señala que existen otras anomalías con gastos de celulares, viáticos y radiotaxis. Se estableció que existen gastos que exceden el límite de minutos de los teléfonos móviles y que no fueron reembolsados al programa por los usuarios o que muchos traslados no cuentan con justificación.
Ante ello, el diputado Díaz sostuvo que “esta situación es inaceptable y que aquí el gobierno debería asumir su responsabilidad como corresponde. Me gustaría saber qué piensa la ministra de Mideplan, Paula Quintana, respecto a esta situación tan complicada y bochornosa que nuevamente está viviendo la CONADI”.
Y agregó: “Aquí no podemos dejar que se corte por el hilo más delgado y que los que deben asumir este tema escondan la cabeza. Aquí nosotros lo hemos dicho como parlamentario de La Araucanía que en el Consejo de la Corporación existe una red de corrupción, que con eso ha tratado de perjudicar la imagen de cientos de funcionarios que han trabajado con respecto y lealtad”.
El legislador sostuvo que “reconocemos el esfuerzo que a diario hacen cientos de estos empleados por tratar de servir lo mejor posible a los destinatarios de su labor, pero al mismo tiempo observamos que ellos no pueden impedir una larga serie de situaciones que significan infracciones a la ley, y que no sólo perjudican al pueblo mapuche, sino también a ellos mismos”.
“Chile ha asumido la lucha por la transparencia como un objetivo de Estado. En ese marco, apoyamos la nueva Ley de Transparencia, pues es un derecho de los ciudadanos saber todo respecto del accionar de los entes públicos que deben atenderles, y que se financian con la plata que sale del bolsillo de los chilenos cada vez que pagan impuestos”, dijo.
Expresó que “cuando son los propios trabajadores de la CONADI, a través de sus legítimos dirigentes gremiales, los que denuncian irregularidad tras irregularidad, nosotros creemos que este nuevo informe debe ser entregado a la comisión investigadora de la Cámara y exigimos un pronunciamiento real del gobierno”.
